About Innolink

What is the Innolink platform?

One system for restaurants and shops, with four parts:

  • an ordering website on your own web address,
  • self-service kiosks,
  • Innolink POS: the till, with kitchen screens,
  • a back office where you manage stores, menus, orders and reports.
Do I have to take every part?

No. Each part works on its own or together, in any mix. For example: only online ordering, next to the till you already have. Or kiosks that send their orders to the POS you already use. Or the full Innolink POS with kitchen screens.

Where do you work?

Our team is based in Aruba. We work with businesses in Aruba, Curaçao and the Netherlands, and we come on site for installation, training and go-live.

How do I contact you or get help?

Email morris@innolinkholdings.com or call +297 641 6370 (Aruba time).

For questions about personal data, email privacy@innolinkholdings.com. For questions about our terms, email legal@innolinkholdings.com.

Ordering website and kiosks

How can customers pay?
  • On the website: Visa and Mastercard through CyberSource, with 3-D Secure. Where the store switches them on: Sentoo (pay from a local bank account), SETAR Pay.aw, and paying at the counter.
  • At the kiosk: on the bank's card terminal, linked to the kiosk.
Pickup, delivery or eat in?

Pickup, delivery and eat in, and where a store offers them: curbside, drive-thru, and orders for a later time. Each store chooses which ones it offers.

Which languages are there?

The website can be in English, Papiamento, Dutch and Spanish. Each business chooses which languages to show. The kiosk is in English and Papiamento.

Does the website use our own name and web address?

Yes. The website runs on your own web address, with a security certificate, in your colours and with your logo.

Is it easy to use for everyone?

We test every screen for plain words and large, clear buttons. The website has labels for screen readers. The kiosk has an accessibility button, for example to switch off moving images.

Do customers get a receipt?

Website orders get an order confirmation by email, then an email when the order is being prepared and when it is ready. Kiosks print a receipt. The till prints a receipt and can also email one.

Connecting your POS and delivery platforms

Already have a POS you like? Our ordering website and kiosks can work with it.

Can online and kiosk orders go to the POS we already use?

Yes, for most common POS systems. Orders from your Innolink website and kiosks reach your existing POS already paid, so the kitchen works the way it does today.

What reaches our POS with each order?

The items with their options, taxes, delivery fee, service charge, tips and discounts, the customer's name, phone number and email, the delivery address and note, and the pickup or delivery time. Card details never reach your POS or our servers.

Does the customer see what happens to the order?

Yes. When your POS accepts, prepares or finishes an order, the customer sees it on their order page, and gets an email when the order is being prepared and when it is ready.

Can we pause or slow down online orders at busy times?
  • Paused: the website and kiosks stop taking orders for that store until you switch it back on.
  • Busy: the store stays open, but orders for "as soon as possible" are not possible, and the extra waiting time is added to the time the customer sees.
Can an order be cancelled?

Yes. When a manager cancels or refunds an order in the Innolink back office, your POS is told to cancel it too. If that does not go through, the back office shows a warning to cancel it on the POS by hand.

We run several brands at one location. Does that work?

Yes. Each brand has its own menu, and its orders go to the right place.

How do we connect our POS?

Your Innolink contact connects it for you. We check it with test orders on your POS before your store goes live.

An order did not reach our POS. What do we do?

Open the order in the Innolink back office. It shows what happened to it, and you can send it to the POS again. If the POS does not confirm an order in time, the order is put on the "needs attention" list and the customer is told. If it still does not arrive, call us at +297 641 6370.

POS and kitchen

What does Innolink POS run on?

On Android tablets and on Windows PCs, including touchscreen PCs. Card payments go through a card terminal linked to the till where your bank supports it, or the cashier types in the approval code from the bank's own terminal.

How do kitchen screens work?

Orders show on the kitchen screen with large tickets, a timer, the options and any allergy note. Staff tick off items and mark the order ready. Website and kiosk orders can go to the same kitchen screens. There is also a pickup screen for staff, and a board for a TV that shows customers when their order is ready.

Which printers can we use?

Receipt and kitchen printers on the network or Bluetooth that use the common ESC/POS standard, on 80 mm or 58 mm paper. A cash drawer connected to the printer opens on a cash sale.

What if the internet drops?

The tills keep selling and printing when the internet drops. Sales are kept on the till and sent to the back office when the connection is back.

Privacy and security

Who owns our data?

You do. Your menu, orders, customers, staff records and financial data stay yours. You can download all of it at any time from Settings, Plan in the back office. See our terms.

Do card details pass through your servers?

No. Card details go straight to the payment provider. We never see or store card numbers.

How is the back office protected?

Every account uses two-step sign-in, and passkeys are supported. Data is encrypted on its way between devices and our servers, sensitive keys are stored encrypted, and access is logged.

Do you sell or share personal data?

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the services needed to run the platform, such as hosting, email, and the payment, delivery and accounting services a business chooses to connect. Read the privacy policy.

What happens to our data if we stop?

You can still download it for 12 months. After that it is deleted, and the owner is told at least 30 days before.
